Recoveri Dot Microtagging

Recoveri Dot Microtagging

What is microtagging?

A microdot is an innovative vehicle identification and tracking solutions. Microtagging occurs when a series of microdots is etched into lines of text – this becomes an uniques asset identification number.

How does it work?

In order for a vehicle to be microtagged, roughly 15 000 microdots are mixed into a solution which acts as adhesive. When exposed under a UV light, the microdots and solutions reveal the vehicle’s identification.

Microtagging is a very refined process, the components of which include:

  • Microdots
  • UV light-respondent polyurethane adhesive
  • A unique ID number
  • Lables for the asset to be marked
  • Lightweight polyethylene container bag.
